Meet the legal mind who's probably seen it all -
...well, almost. Since 2001, Chris Grenfell has been navigating the unpredictable and sometimes bizarre world of legal practice. His journey began in the emotionally demanding world of care and protection law with Child Youth and Family (now Oranga Tamariki), where he fought tirelessly for those most vulnerable.
After cutting his teeth in the world of private practice at Edmonds Judd in Te Awamutu, he then tackled corporate giants head-on as a civil litigator with the prestigious firm Kensington Swan where he promptly became an Associate. Since 2010, he returned to, and provided steady leadership at, Edmonds Judd. He became a partner and, in 2020, managing partner. Chris left Edmonds Judd in 2024 to found CWG Law.
This dedicated lawyer and Notary Public also holds an MBA and a graduate diploma in teaching, demonstrating his commitment to both business acumen and clear communication. He understands that legal matters can be confusing, and he takes pride in his ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, understandable terms for his clients.
Today, Chris is the trusted advisor clients turn to for a wide range of issues, from navigating the complexities of separation and workplace conflict to resolving everyday civil matters.
